This lecture examines education governance at the intersections of global, national, and local stake-holders in an era shaped by technologies, data, and metrics.
He argues that historical perspectives shed light on the origins of trends like the rise of global education frameworks, resurgent nationalism, and the influence of knowledge brokers.
Finally, he will highlight implications for democratic education, Bildung, and future research.
